As the Ram Temple was being inaugurated, BJP leader Swamy chastised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Swamy said that Modi had deserted his wife in a message published on X.
“How can followers of Ram allow the Modi Pran Pratishtha Puja to be held at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya? For twenty-five years of his life, Lord Rama battled to save his wife Sita. However, Modi is also known for ignoring his spouse. So how is he going to perform the puja?” Subramanian Swamy inquired.
